I used 10 hen thighs (about 2 lbs) however you may definitely use much less… Combine half of tsp cumin, half of tsp salt, 1 tsp turmeric, and 1 tiny sprinkle purple pepper. Pour seasoning over your hen thighs.

Warmth 1 tbsp butter over medium/excessive warmth. Sear hen thighs and prepare dinner through (about 3-5 min either side), cooking in batches if wanted so that you don’t overcrowd the pan. Put aside and canopy.

To that pan, add 2 tbsp butter, garlic, ginger, and 1 diced onion. Sauté till tender. Add 1 tbsp tomato paste and stir. Add 1 can diced tomatoes and half of cup heavy cream or milk. Let simmer 10 minutes.
